"Me and two of my friends stayed here for a girls weekend. The motel was perfect for us and staff was extremely helpful with getting us anything we needed (ice, extra towels, hair dryer) ! If we’re ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again ¨̮"

Their website states that there isn't air conditioning but there is, which is a huge bonus. Keep in mind that there is not in room refrigerators - there is a communal mini fridge in the office. "This is a solid little motel if you're interested in seeing the dunes, or you just wanna get away from the big cities down state. It's basic, but it's a well run family business. I always had new towels and my trash picked up daily from my room. The café is open Wednesday to Sunday, and it always has a crowd for good reason. "Such a great motel for our 2 night stay! The owners are extremely friendly and accomodating. No AC but a fan is provided and there was a lovely breeze coming through the windows for our stay. They were also very helpful with storing our cold food. Overall very quiet place in a great location. 15-20 minutes to the sand dunes in one direction and 30 minutes to get to the city."

"Clean!! I honestly didn't know what to expect, I haven't stayed in a motel since the 90s and back then it wasn't a great experience. Foothill motel exceeded my expectations. It was cleaner than all the big hotels I've stayed in recently for work and yet it still has a family owned charm to it. We'll definitely be back, thanks so much for having us!"
